HELP-U-LEARN
AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL MINISTRY
A special ministry to children from grade one to grade eight, who need assistance in completing their homework assignments.
Students arrive at our Church daily starting at 2pm. They are helped by many young people volunteers, some who were former students of our program and came back as high school counselors and tutors. We provide extra-curricular activities for students. Once a month the children, parents and families are invited to our Parent/Children fellowship to learn about God.
Many parents are personally invited to attend other home Bible studies and Bible classes led by our church staff. Many former students of this tutorial have grown to become young leaders serving in many different fellowship groups, music ministries, basketball ministries, youth lock-in ministries and our summer day camp ministries. For the past eight years, we have reached over 500 children and their families. Now 85% of these children are actively attending one of our meetings at least once a month.
